Collaborating closely with you I create a design tailored to your unique preferences. The Bespoke design service is a holistic, comprehensive process which ensures your outdoor space works in harmony with you and your surroundings.
How it works
GARDEN QUESTIONNAIRE
Before we start, I'll delve into your garden aspirations. A brief questionnaire helps identify your garden wish list and how we can create the garden you desire. If a bespoke design is the way forward, a free 30-minute consultation is offered.
CONSULTATION
In a 30-minute complimentary consultation, we meet in your garden to explore your vision and preferences in more detail. Together, we'll look at how to integrate your aspirations with the existing space. If we decide to work together, a deposit secures your spot, and we set a start date.
SITE ASSESSMENT
A thorough assessment involves measurements and photos of your garden, considering existing plants, soil quality, structures, views, accesses, aspect, and drainage.
BASE PLAN
Using the information gathered, a scale-drawn plan is created, highlighting the current layout, features to retain, and the overall shape of the garden—a crucial foundation for the upcoming design.
CONCEPT PLAN AND MOOD BOARD
2D scale hand drawn ideas are developed based on the site assessment and consultation to produce a concept plan. Accompanied by a mood board, this shows visualisations of different ways to utilise your space. We meet to discuss your preferences at this stage.
FINAL PLAN
A detailed 2D scale drawing plan, is produced. We discuss sustainable, cost-effective methods to bring the design to life.
BRINGING THE V|SION TO LIFE
I actively participate in soft landscaping implementation, providing quotes and executing the plan where possible. For hard landscaping, I can recommend trusted professionals and oversee the project to ensure the vision is faithfully realised.
Duration of planning: 3 - 8 weeks
Investment from: £1500
(50% deposit up front, rest on completion of plan)
This price is based on a small garden so it may vary depending on the scale of the area we are working with, a quote based on your specific requirements will be provided after the initial consultation.
